Disney's newest kid-friendly is Bedtime Stories, a quasi-romantic comedy staring Adam Sandler (Click) and Keri Russell (August Rush) including appearances by Russell Brand (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and Courtney Cox-Arquette (Friends).

Bedtime Stories follows the life of Skeeter Bronson (Sandler), a slacker working as the handy man in the five-star Nottingham Hotel. After his sister (Cox-Arquette) gets fired from her job, she takes a trip to Arizona for an interview. She asks Skeeter to help her friend Jill (Russell) babysit her two kids while she travels to her job interview. Each night while putting her kids to sleep, he makes up a bedtime story. The next day, much to his surprise, each story comes true and ridiculous things like raining gumballs begin to happen. One night during a story, Bronson pens a story where the underdog wins. The next day Skeeter is shocked when the owner of the Nottingham Hotel puts him against his future son-in-law to manage his next hotel. Meanwhile, Skeeter and Jill begin to fall in love with each other.

Bedtime Stories is a cute movie to see with your little cousins/siblings, or the kids you babysit. Adam Sandler is his usual goofy self and the chemistry with Keri Russell is good, not great. However, it has perfect run time of one hour and 35 minutes to keep you entertained without losing focus. This is a cute movie to see if there is nothing else to do on a slow weekend. Bedtime Stories is an adorable family movie that isnít horrible to sit through.
